Car Meet and Indoor Kart Racing ~ September 11th
Hey guys...
My group, SactoCXV, will be meeting up at 5 pm on Saturday, September 11th at RPM Indoor Kart Racing to hang out, grab some grub, and log some laps on one of the best indoor karting tracks in Northern Cali.
For more information on the karting arena, check out RPM's website... Different types of races are available based on the number of participants, all are fairly easy on the budget, and the price includes a head sock that you get to keep.

Rep Power: 294 hey i have been there before. we did the 50 lap grand prix i think it was. so how many races would you guys have? and is it cool if i were to bring some other friend s too?

Okay guys... here's the details...
I just got off the phone with RPM and made a reservation for track time at 8 pm on Saturday, September 11th. I've scheduled a Mini-Pro Moto race... there will be 10-racer heats... (each racer will run at least 40 laps; the number of heats will depend on the number of people racing)... and the top 10 Qualifiers will compete in a 10 lap final. To run in the Mini-Pro Moto, it will cost each driver $38.00 plus $5.00 for a head sock that you get to keep.
I have tentatively reserved spots for 25 racers, which can be changed, but would need to be changed as soon as possible. What I need from you guys is a head count... who's definitely going to make it? And will you be bringing girlfriends/boyfriends/friends that will want to race too?
Gotta let me know the details ASAP so I can adjust the reservation if necessary... if you have any questions, feel free to PM me or e-mail me at norcali_crx_becca@yahoo.com anytime.

Rep Power: 294 man i wish i could go racing but i would only be able to watch cuz gf wants to go but she doesnt want to race(she said she is just gonna watch) but her brother wants to go and rae but hes not old enough( he is only 15 and dont you need a drivers license to race right?) and so iono if ill go and my other friends will be busy since its one of there bdays(going to TODAI!!!) so ill let you know if i can go for sure next friday aight?

Btw... even if you won't be racing, RPM's still a good place to hang out if you're able to come by... hope to see you there!

I will be at RPM [3130 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento, CA] between 4:30pm and 5:00pm tomorrow, Saturday, September 11th. Look for a silver CR-V with a large blue SactoCXV banner across the back window facing Bradshaw road. Our track time is scheduled for 8:00pm, which should give us plenty of time to check out each other's rides, grab some food, and get suited up for racing. Rep Power: 0 Becca, damn i'm sorry i couldn't go. I had to pick up what was left of my buddies crx this morning. He got in a huge t-bone with a f-250. He's got a full back bracing going on and he looks like crap...but his rollcage is what i personally think saved his life. Sorry hon...maybe we can gt just a few of us together and lets just do a general meet and greet kinda barbeque. I think we need to badly and i ned to have some fun in between now and oct 2nd. college lets in and after that i have no life for 9 straight months.

About the meet 'n' greet bbq... I've been thinking of pulling something together... might be able to pull something off on one of the upcoming Sundays... right now my Saturdays are pretty booked. I'll PM you with some info... hopefully we can coordinate something soon.
BTW...RPM was sweet! We got 10 guys together who actually raced (mostly Sacto guys), but a couple guys from Merced made the drive just to hang out... afterwards we all had dinner and some of us cruised Sunrise just for the hell of it. It was an awesome night... we'll definitely need to have this meet again in the future!! You would have had a blast!
