I'm here in San Francisco for the weekend visiting my friend who's interning here. What is there to do here? I walked to Fisherman's Wharf, but it's all so touristy, I dunno, I've been here once before and the touristy stuff just doesn't seem too much fun. THanks

I dunno, I was just wondering since where I was was so touristy, where do the locals go? Do you guys go to the tourist area too?

check out japan town (Geary and Filmore) for their expensive food and equally expensive products.
then go to meteron (3rd St. and Market) for IMAX movie and some (window) shopping.

hm.. most ppl go shopping i guess. downtown and embarcadero.

if ur up for a challenge, spend a day wandering thru chi-town. some pretty touristy stuff in there

the chi-town near downtown is too ghetto imo, even tho. i am chinese too.
but i guess the "new" chi-town in richmond distr.'s ok.

frisco is overrated. chi town smells. seriously it smells.
go to equinox for the view at night. check out hooters on the embarcadero.
go visit the famous lombard street

pretty much thats it. oh yeah check out the exploratorium

dont listen to these kids, go see the park, Union square, the haight area, since your a tourist you'll have a laugh goin thru the castro area, Hard Rock Cafe is on Van Ness, check out the civic center, the mission area, south of market, ride the trolly, i really liked the alcatraz audio tour (on Alcatraz) go walk the golden gate, Angel Island is beautiful, eat at the rain forest cafe near peir 39, you gotta walk the waves out in front of the chocalate factory ... (great with a girly)

theres more... but I am jus gettin in at 5:51 am .... not gettin up ...
