Question san francisco trip

i know this should be in the north cal forum, if that's still there, but it's not as highly visited.

i'm trying to plan a weekend up in san francisco, something between july 15 and 20th, but not that whole time, just a couple days. anybody know of anything happening around that time? or any resturaunt or hotel recomendations? i'll be flying, so i won't have my turd mobile, but i'll be 21 on the 18th, and then i can try to rent a car or something like that. there's always the taxi's or the BART or the trolly cars. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Union square is a good place too. If you go there, eat at the Cheesecake Factory on the top of Macys. It's a good place to eat where the food is good and plenty, and where the dessert is awesome.

Or you can always go to Sony Metreon. Free usage of games. LoL. And um, also visit Yerba Buena Park, ice skate, Zeum (sp?) and such.

San Fran is cool but it's expensive.

I stayed at the California Residence Club, on California street, which was pretty cheap (70$ a night or something). anyway, that was close to everything.

I also stayed at the YMCA down in the tenderloin, I was super cheap, but I don't think you want to try that.

anyway, just ride the trams and get off where you think it's cool. The panhandle park, just west of Haigh/Ashbury is cool too.

^ tenderloins........ you got *****, especially from being out of town.

i don't think frisco is that expensive though. i live about an hour away so i go over sometimes. good places to eat are Lori's on i think powel, right down the street from union square, Mel's, blondie's, they have a nice resturaunt near the end of china town but i can't remember the name, RAIN FOREST CAFE <tight. if you want easy access to all the good things in frisco i think you should stay near union square. close to the Giants field(take muni$1), pier 39 (f line muni), china town (walking distance), metreon (walking distance), strip clubs (centerfolds.....wow), bars, clubs, etc. pretty much anything you might want... hope it helps
