Supercharger gives you power throughout the rpm band, so I say get that. Not as damaging as a turbo, either.

"turbo" would be for the more hardcore racers wouldn't it?

and superchargers... easier to maintain with and no "lag"

i never had any expierenced with turbo or SC becuz i never drove one or been in one.


theirs a lot of boosted ppl who post here, should ask them.

i'd stick w/ turbo.... if u go w/ SC u wont be able to push out as much hp as a turbo. yeah ur gonna have to wait for it to kick in but in the end i think it would be faster and more power than an SC

get the Cybernation 25 Psi Turbo kit look at DC5@EM2 car.. 500 HP i saw the clip of him from a dead stop and he took off like it was no other...

superchargers arent great on a 4 banger, you need to the engine to run the supercharger but then the supercharger will take power away from the engine and limit the amount of boost you can make.

If it were me, I wouldn't boost the engine because I don't need that much power to satisfy me. I'd be happy with an intake, header and cam gears. In other words, I'd go N/A. In plain #s, 13 second ride.

But if I wanted to, it would be a no-brainer. Forget the supercharger, real men get BLOWN.

Anyways, i would go with the turbo. since i would think the "lag" from the turbo wouldn't be that much of a difference. although sc does gives you power in throughout the rpm, but you have see how much "power" does it actually give in low rpm.

After K20A-R swap - No, but you can pull a few strings.
After the swap and turbo - Even more of a no.

I think if one were to go all out, supercharger is not of the essence.
