someones selling a 01 lx with type-r motor its in one of the local ads..12500 for teh car...i emailed him..think that's a good price for the car?

I'd look at in person and drive it for 100 miles. Either the seller is an idiot or a genius. The price of setting up his motor costs almost as much as the price he's selling the car for.

You know the car won't pass smog - well, it will if you have the Type S ECU but it won't pass visual from what I hear.

there's ways to get around smog...hopefully this is a good find..ill update u guys on how it goes..

The engine? I dunno a Type R engine that hasn't been driven through stratosphere and back constantly but it's absolutely made to. I'd ask for maintenance records.

By the way, it's not like the car can't be test driven unless the seller is selling the car as an undrivable POS.
