Honda Hookups

ANyone know of somebody at a honda Dealership, that would be able to help my mom out with her maintance on a 2001 accord. She's got 30,000 miles, so there is more thatn just an oil change. Can anybody help me out on this one. Anything would be alot of help.

I don't know any hook ups but I would say DIY your own maintainance for your mom if you have some tools.

1.Oil change
2.Air filter replacement
3.Cabin filter replacement
4.Change all the fluid (ATF,brake fluid,power steering fluid,coolant,etc)
5.E-brake adjustment

The 30000 mile service is too much from the dealer so I would recommend DIY. If you don't have tools or a place to do it then you might wanna let dealers handle it. Be sure to compare prices before you paid. Some dealers are more expensive for doing the same job~

DIY or take it somewhere else other than Honda. There are other places that'll do the same thing for far cheaper.

Yup. Honda dealer charged me well over $600 ($640 to be xact) fer the 30k maintainance. BS. After that, my mechanic just checks it. Xcept the easy stuff, I DIY unless I'm lazy.

$640 is a crazy price! They probably told you that you had to add this and that...some things like engine flushing service...I was cheated by Toyota dealer when I brought my mom's car for 30K service before. Yah any shop can do the service for much cheaper than Honda.

Cool Cool thanks a million for the down low. I think I'll take it some where other than Honda. I don't really have the right tools to do it myself.

THanks guys.
