just got my windows tinted from millenium auto tint on el camino, and they did a hella good job. newaiz i asked the guy about tint law in cali and he sed that now if u get caught with illegal tint its a one time fine of $70 and u dont hafta get rid of it and never hafta pay the fine agen. is this rite? just wondering cuz my fronts are pretty noticeable and i dont wanan get jacked by the law.

when i got my windows tinted ... they said its illegal to tint the front nowadays but i also think thats bs. but on the law charts it says: 70% tint on front and any on back as of 1999. not sure if they still follow those percentages but my windows are tinted 94% back, 65% front n had no trouble so far. but what your frend tellin u is bs.. ask him/her whered the **** they got that info from.

btw: mirror/silver/chrome/any colored tint is ILLEGAL no matter what in california due to reflective ness. (mentioning becuz u didnt mention what kinda tint u have.)

When i got ticketed it was a $75 fine. No fix it ticket, just a fine and i left my tint on. It must depend on the police officer or the court house.

u can have tint on the front, its just that the only tint that is within the legal amount or wutever is so damn light all it duz is block uv rays and its still clear like normal glass i think.

nice! mine is 15% tint (I dont care if it's illegal).. i think.. hehe.. as far as i know.. second from the darkest front and rear and planning to get the darkest for my windshield... they didn't put a tint on windshield because it was just for free LOL

Well, their price is already low and they can still give you discount if i tell them... if anybody around santa clara or san jose.. just let me know :-) they can do any shade/color of tint.. from titanium to black...
