as most of you know, i'm getting boosted. i paid for $2000 of it last week to keep the GB price...,very cool of Mike to let me do that too
well yesterday (payday) i paid off the rest and am waiting for Mike (SFpower) to let me know when i should come down and get it installed, it should be about 2-3 weeks hopefully. i'm getting a tranny cooler and turbo timer put in as well, after that i'm getting a torque converter and i am done with "speed" mods, unless down the line i decide to go hardcore and beef up some internals but for now the plan is everything else after this is gonna be ICE. kit and rims will be dead last..wanna keep it a sleeper as long as possible

which is going to be faster you think?
AT with turbo with however much boost you can handle safely
VS
K20 swapped 6 speed
thatll be something to see!
good job 18sec, you should change that name as soon as you get the turbo..
or did ya want to look sleeper on the 7thgen boards as well? lol

This oughta look good for Mr. 18-second... stomping on engine swapped 6-speed Civics that paid more for their engine + installation compared to boosting the boost friendly D17... and does it on an automatic transmission.
My only guess why the D17s are taking more power than the D16s is the slight increase of displacement (just one reason) but it's probably more than my knowledge serves me about both engines as of today.

so any idea how fast a auto will run at the 1/4?
so if slammed theory is correct
since the AT takes boost much better, there is a chance the AT can run faster than high-13s!????
wow thats amazing

i'm guessing my AT with an exhaust and tranny cooler (which should help it shift easier) should get into the high 14's on 7-8psi, atleast thats my guess but i dont know, no one with a turbo'd AT has posted 1/4 mile times. with a torque converter, new spark plugs, and better tires, hoping that will push me to low 14's.
I'd say you could hold your own against S2ks unless they are really good launching their cars.
I keep dreaming about that car. It's so unfair. I guess it's better than dreaming about my car getting stolen or something bad happening to it.

we can settle this arguement about the K20A2 civic vs. AT Turbo Civic. Let me know when you have your turbo in, and we can meet up to have a run. Should be close...i have a Neuspeed SS, AEM CAI, HKS Exhaust with 2.5in. pipping from cat back.

thats cool with me...the shop is laggin huge on my car...and chargin me up the *** for a very minimal amount of work that they have done. Im gonna go over there pick up my car and finish it myself. I thought this was gonna be like a 2 day $200-$300 expense, and its turning into a 2 week $700 thing. Its no good, i will keep you guys updated.
About my driving, i am a decent driver. I know how to heal-toe-downshift, i can shift really fast, i know how to launch my car, and i know when to shift...then again, im driving basically a whole new beast...so we will see how fast i can adapt to the new power.
Yes i will be able to beat out RSX-S's...i have an AEM CAI and exhaust on my car with the swap, so i would imagine a RSX-S with anything less i could take. I will be obviously able to take out Preludes, TypeR's, GSR's, Si's as well.
