$500? I hope they're without a scratch and with some worthy tires already mounted with a good amount of tread left. What kind of tires?
I'd like them but they are out of my price range plus I need to get rid of the 17s I already have.

Well, it's actually quite important Lisa because I might be your buyer actually. Besides, I'm not the only person who wants to know about the tires. Their condition is just as important if not somewhat more important than the wheels.
Someone now is trying to buy MY 17s and with the money I might get the Si wheels or the Kamikaze header. Or better yet, some struts.

Oh, and wait a second... WHICH Si wheels are these? Are these off the new Si or the old one? If it's off the new one, then I decline, sorry. 
I'm thinking (and hoping) they're from the old one - which would explain the previous price.

Rep Power: 0 I talked to the guy the other day. I ended the convo very confused. He said there was only about 2,000 miles on the tires, but the tires were starting to wear out and would need to be replaced in the next couple thousand miles. I was like WTF? Tires that are only good for 4,000 miles? He's either on crack, or lying his *** off about how many miles are on the tires. Anyways, the rims are from a 99/00 si. And he didn't know what the hell kinda tires he had on the rims anyways. He was at work, so he couldn't find out for me right them.
Very... very... odd.
Tires that need to be replaced @ 2,000 miles makes no sense AT ALL. Maybe he meant 20?
I find it quite careless not to know what kind of tires you have on when you plan to sell the wheels and tires.
There's not enough info on this, and I don't blame you at all Lisa. It's just that it's hard to buy something when there's not enough statistics on the product to even know if it's worth buying. We just know that some used wheels are for sale without knowing the details such as:
Condition of the wheels
Condition of the tires
Brand/model of tires
Mileage on both the wheels and tires (if possible)
I think this info should've been already supplied - but since you're not the owner of the wheels, the owner should've been ready to at least have simple info on the wheels. He's selling them as if they never belonged to him in the first place and his info that he gives doesn't seem to be trustworthy or to say the least, reliable.
But because you're the one putting out the word for him I would still think that he can't be that bad to buy from - but his sales pitch sucks dearly.

Rep Power: 0 lol. true. he just didn't seem to know what the hell he was talking about. btw, I grilled him on the mileage stuff, and I mentioned that most tires get 50,000 miles before needing replacement, and he still insisted that the tires had 2,000 miles on them, but needed to be replaced in the next 2,000 miles. at that point, I knew I wasn't going to waste my time driving out to Tracy to look at them.

i coulda told u that he doesn't know a lot of the questions ya'll wanted to know. he's a kewl guy, jus not so into cars.
let see.. here's wut i know. he got the rims from somebooty.. i think a relative er sumfin. he's had them on HIS car for about 2k miles, they are still on his car. he's probably never changed the tires... worst case senario... they are probably on their last leg.
let's not bash on LI's friends.. i don't bash on urs!
i'll try to get over to his work sometime soon, hopefully this weekend.. and then i'll post up some pics. will that make everybooty happy?? **cheezy voice**

I don't mean to sound like I was bashing him (as I never once did, I have no reason to), but I think it's a good idea to help us out so we can help him sell and he can help one of us buy.
