Angry need help my amp

i posted this is the ICE forum but thought i'd post here too to see if i can get some more help. i was driving home yesterday and all of a sudden my subs just stopped working. i checked out my amp and i guess its not getting power cuz neither the "power" or "protection" light is on. the proctection light should come on if its something simple as something wrong with the ground or blown fuse. but i did check the fuses, they are ok, i checked the power connection at the battery and amp and they are sturdy. i'm getting the terribe feeling that its the amp. if it is i'm screwed, i cant send it to the manufacter cuz you need the receipt and i threw it away anyone have any ideas?

i got it fixed, turned out the damn inline fuse was blown but it still looked ok. didnt figure it out till i used my voltage meter...if only i did that in the first place, i spent more than half the day trying to figure out what was wrong! i thought for sure it was the amp...i was already browsing for a new one, lol.
