anyone want to get tein SS??????
guys i got REALLY REALLY BAD NEWS!....the TEIN SS was a special promotion that my friend was able to get, but they only gave him a certain amount of TEIN SS to sell for 850, and it turns out that he sold the very last one last week. I paid him a visit today to find out some things for u guys and he told me when i came and asked. I"M SOOOO sorry u guys......i feel really bad and dissapointed at the same time. Only if i acted sooner. but as of now.....there is no more TEIN SS for 850 but for 1050. So decided that i'm going to get the BASIC for 850 straight.
if u guys really want to track ur car and really want the TEIN SS, then the best i can do for u guys is 1050. again i'm really sorry u guys. i didn't know that he only had a certain amoutn until today. and only if i told u guys sooner. But if u guys are still interested in the Tein Basic then let me know. i'm still going to go get it at the end of this week. he said we are able to get the tein basic the same day we come in to pay for it. so it take home right away. if u guys don't track ur car then the basic is still worth the money, but for u guys who track ur car and relaly want the adjustable dampering then get the SS. So the only diff between the SS and the BASIC is that the basic done''st have teh adjustable dampering(for those who don't know) So again.........SORRY DOODS.....but if ur still interested in the BASIC then let me know still.
ok i got some more news now.........i'm able to get the TEIN SS from another friend for 940 from my other friend. this time i'm going to have to go through this friend to get the TEIN SS. so its either u guys want the BASIC from SUPER VIP MOTORSPORTS for 850 or u guys can get the SS from my other friend that has a friend that works in a warehouse for 940. So its really up to u guys. if u guys want out then its all good. i know this is a hassle, but just let me know on what u guys want. and NO the don't make the FLEX for our cars yet. so once again.........850 for BASIC and 940 for SS. for the extra 90 bucksu guys can get adjustable dampening. i'm just going to go for the SS now since my friend can hook me up. let me know guys
940 is about a rough estimate of what he can do. So if all u guys are still in then i can pretty much get it for htat price. Now i really need to know by this THURSDAY NIGHT. i can let my friend know by friday morning and then he can relay it back to his friend. I need this in order for us to pick it up hte same day. so let me know guys
i don't recommend of of u guys getting the SS because this guy is getting them from a kind of black market type thing. so i decided not to get it and i'm goign to super vip for the basic. So i'm not going to get the SS for any of u guys because i dont want u guys to have any problems with them and have no one to complain to. so i'm only going to get the basic for u guys if u want. and the guy said 850 flat with cash. i tried for every single price that u could tink of. the guy wouldn't budge. sorry.

I dont know much about damping but what adjusting it do to the ride? (sorry for the stupid question) If its not that important I'll go for the basics.

ok the adjustable dampening adjusts the STIFFNESS of ur ride. So u can go to the track and stiffen up the shock so then u will be able to take turns way better....or if ur just crusiin with a girl adjust hte dampening to the softest settings and the ride will be all comfortable. Thats what TEIN SS can do. for the BASIC ...u can't adjust it. u just have to take the ride as is. so in other words the ride is mostly going to be comfortable all the time.....u can't stiffen it up. so if u race ur car then........i do'tn konw..........but if ur like me and jsut watn a good drop with a comfortable ride then the BASIC is fine. well let me know if ur still in asap
so in other word u can go from a very stiff ride.....which u will feel all the bumps on the road.......or go to comfortable for........the smoothness......and notive the bumps very less.....thats basically what it does to the ride
hey Derrick. I emailed Tein, they said Basic Damper kit is not out yet for 2001+ civic yet. so prob. end of this month or next month. they dont have exact day yet. so I doubt that Super VIP has the Basic kit.
