Hi all Im new like my car Hi all I just wanted to say whats cracking everyone and intro my self im Jon and I just got my silva 2003 Civic Ex coupe on may 5 and I look forward to metting everyone at one of the meets Im thinking of going to the one on the 31st of may at redline racing in northridge any way to everyone else pls give me some ideas on the first thing I should do to my car.

Are you going for looks or performance? Not much performance in our cars. Bolt-on's do not give us much hp/torque. For instance, an AEM CAI (Cold Air Intake) will ACTUALLY give you 3-4hp top.
If you're going for looks first drop it, and add body kit (oem kit goes well with 03 rims). I wouldn't sell the 03 rims...they look nice!
If you're going for performance *laugh*, you must go Turbo or K20A2 (RSX-S) engine swap. Turbo will run you about $2500-3500. A K20A2 swap will cost you $10,000 with parts, labor, and other things.

And remember, always search before asking a question...this site can get ugly if you ask questions about intakes and such.

and yeah im going for looks cause my car is really gonna be short term like 3 years or so which means I aint getting much more than a intake and an exhaust as far as the engine goes. But everything else is fair game.

Rep Power: 0 Great choice. In my opinion (yes half of the people here will disagree), it is a waste of money to drop all sorts of engine mods into our cars. The D17 isn't as responsive as the K-series.

Rep Power: 0 welcome to the board! we are very nice people and have a very good time at meets, i am a show guy myself and i JUST finished fixing up my car today! im no longer doing anything to my ride, ill be at the meet this saturday so come check it out! btw, lowering it is VERY important for looks hehe, may i suggest goldline springs

shoulda told us earlier. i still would have gone for the G2, but it'd be good to know. anyway, how much does it go for? !i dunno, maybe down the line...)EDIT: yeah, like david says down there, TAKE PICS! (or at least get someone else to)

Rep Power: 0 Well thanks everyone I feel welcome for real any way as much as I'd like to I cant make the may 10th meet but I will definetley make it a point to be at the may 31st meet. And and to VNlilMAN I live on the corner of hatteras and moorpark thats close to casa de cadillac on ventura blvd.

Rep Power: 302 Welcome to the site!!! First thing you should do to your car is K20a swap and then turbo it. Leave the outside stock except for slam and racing slicks. Total Sleeper...ahhah
