I want a puppy....
Well i've been trying to get a dogg for like a year now.. i'll admit my parents are too cheap to pay for one.. so ya just wanted to see if anyone knew someone giving away puppies..
looking for a small dogg i can keep in the house.. chihuahua, minature doberman, shitsu, etc...
or anyone know a place where i can get a dogg cheap? i tried shelters all they have are full grown pitbulls.. n this one chihuahua rescue center was adopting out pups for $200!! hell i rather go buy one...

btw, older pups are good dogs too.. they make good pets as long as they've been raised properly and not abused, etc.

Rep Power: 417 yup it took about 15 years of tryna convince them and they finally said yes a year ago.. kinda been looking(well more like waiting) for one but ya havnt found one since.. my church is small so ya no luck there... maybe i'll check in the papers... ya older doggs are koo too but i just prefer to have one thats fairly young. i guess anything younger then 2 year is fine... but then again i'm not picky, just as long as i have a dogg... 
birds are nice too.. my friend has one and it costs like $800!! so cool, you get to teach it words and stuff. but ya parents dont like it cause they poo anywhere and everywhere..

my family wants a dog.. but no one wants to take car of it.. so until we find someone that wants to take care of it.. we won't hav one hah isn't that stupid? carmen, the house cleaner will end up takin' care of it hahahahaha sucks

naw birds dont just fly away.. usually their wings are clipped so they can barely fly... and thats why you give it a reason not to fly away. at first i thought the same thing too, what if they just fly away.. they dont its almost like a dogg(but they seem so much for affectionate). you train/treat your dogg right and it wont run away even with the door open. same with a bird.. either they love you or they hate you. her other bird even hates her but it loves me.. their personalities are just so cool

Rep Power: 0 dude, i know this sounds biased and you may think they are ugly, cause i sure did when i bought it, but boston terrier FEMALES are the easiest dogs to train. i have helped train labs (easy as well), shiz tsu, lassa apsos, and a few other (used to be involved in animal assisted therapy) and boston terriers are the easiest to train and they have the most unconidtional love out of any dog ever. the boys are alittle more nuts and hump alot, so get a female. they are little, stay little, and shed only a little bit, and it is short hair so it isnt to bad. they are hyper and always want to play, but can also be very affectionate and calm also. they dont need a ton of room for exercise, running aorund the house is fine, walks every once in a while, and they get along with everyone and everything (any kind of pet, cats, ferrrets, hampsters, anything). if at all possible try to find one. you will not be disapointed. if you cant find them, try to find a pug, they have some breathing problems but are about the same.
if you take your time and feed them treats, they can learn to do anything, well so can any other animal, but i dunno, i have taught my dog everything, she even picks up her own toys and puts them in a basket.

Rep Power: 0 a dog followed me home when i was in high school too...but i was scared cuz damn its a big bitch...it waited outside my house gate for like 10 minutes sitting there then it followed someone else when someone walked by...but it was a cool dog tho...one of those big gold ones...

Rep Power: 417 haha.. ya my neighbors dogg comes up to me when i'm washing my car.. i try to pet it and it runs away tho. arg, n its not nice to steal someone else's pet... imagine how you would feel... its like someone kidnapping your son..

We recently got a Gineua Pig...and that lil guy is awesome!!! My son won't leave it alone, and it has stayed pretty mellow!!!
I have had a dog before...and so far I like having a G-pig better
...although my dream pet is a pot belly pig
BTW, some dogs are stupid and make bad pets...like a dalmation
...but some dogs are cool like a Labrador or a German shepard...
just don't buy a girlie dog like a yorkish terrier
