yea i like it here, it is only cheaper here untill summer, then next semester it is going to be 24 bucks a unit, f... me. well i think i just got to do one summer session, a fall semester, and probly a winter session that they will finially have... umm and if i need like 1 more class i will have to do a part timer with like 4-6 units next spring, then i wanna transfer to Oxydental or USC...

No financial aid...
I make like 100 bucks a week..and a quarter isn't even 17 weeks to allow me to save up enough money.
That's why I haveZERO in savings now and am broke up the assssss. How sad, huh?

Rep Power: 0 wow, i kinda admire how most of you in college are paying your own way through. i just took it for granted that i'd go to a college and not pay a cent myself 
. i mean, i'm still concerned about the money 
i'm not gonna go to a private school--without a grant or something--and have my parents pay something like 40 grand a year....kudos to all you that are self-sufficient!!!

I hate school's fin aid office, they give me zero.
That's the problem with fin aid...they don't give it to the people that truly need it.. I need it!! damn. I have a friend who drives nice car, has nice clothes and gets school FREE. I love clothes, but now, it sucks, I'm wearing the same shhhhhhtuff I was wearing 2 years ago. fuuuuuck.
anyway, i'm sort of disabled now, and can't really afford school or be able to work more... I hate my life!!!

Rep Power: 336 Now that I'm already turning this thread from school thread into miserable hate my life thread, I wanted to add that I used to buy clothes every week and just not worry about "cost" when I go shopping. Now, shopping is outta the question, but that's okay, because I can't walk anyway. (walk at mall, etc.)

I'm in the writing center below the library. lol. suppose to be doing my paper... doh.

btw I did not know about that racing deal at school at all. heh. mmm.. commuters school, 80% of students dont know whats going on at school.

UCSD ... guess there aren't that many SD ppl here .. thought there were more cause the meet on the 23'rd was somewhere in SD.

Rep Power: 0 i got to cuyamaca, its a JC. I was denied was SDSU and I was like DAMN IT! haha I had over a 3.0 gpa, dam you SAT scores, DAM you to hell!! My friend Brent goes to UCSD. His dorm is Camp Snoopy. Then this firend of a friend is goin to UCSD next yr and her dorm is there as well and Id Hit it too.

Rep Power: 0 For the UC's, a lot of it depends on your ethnicity and background. It's toughest for Asians and caucasians to get in and easy for hispanics. I hear the disparity is even more extreme now. I read stories in the paper about how a few Asian students with 1400 on their SAT's with 4.0 GPA's and parents who work in high level positions get rejected, while hispanics that come from difficult backgrounds with pretty sad academic records get in.
I had a 4.0 and scored 1300 on my SAT's and initially got rejected from UCLA. I got back via an alternate channel...was recruited by the golf coach and got an athletic scholarship.
