Well, I have the Meguiar's clay bar, n it was awesome.
I dunno how it was quicker than waxing for you, because it always takes me forever. I haven't clayed my car in like a long time, and I don't think it's a good idea right now anyway. Cuz right now, my car is damaged and is in need of bodywork and new paint job..... Uhhg.. I hate myself, now that I re-reminded myself of my car's damage.
ahahah
Anyway, one tip though: don't clay your car anytime it's warm!! Once, I was an idiot and clayed my car during warm weather...the clay stuck to the car and didn't come off for hours. hehe

you should try both clay bar and wax. . .makes the surface of ur car seem like new. I recommend Zymol(wax) bcuz it works really well and it really does cover fine hair lines. I can get a Mothers clay bar for free. . .if n e one wants one just holla. . .but YOU have to do something for me(i'll get you one and a bottle of zymol if u can get me what i want)

iono, i dont want n e thing right now haha
Claybar does not do the same job as waxing. What claybar does is that it removes contaminates (i.e. if u run ur finger nails through the surface of ur car, u’ll feel bumps). Clay bar simply removes those contaminates so that the next time u run ur fingers through it’ll be “contaminate’less.” I recommend doing it after u wash ur car, and using Mothers quick detailer along with the claybar. Spray and use the claybar to wipe it down.
i will also include the Mothers quick detailer. . .if u get what i want (blue oem lip) muahaha

black cars suck for that reason...
i have swirlmark remover and it works, also leaves the surface smooth but its a bitch to use...

Once you clean the paint you put a llayer of wax to seal the clean suface. Then after that you keep layering the wax over and over, not all @ once but from that point on.Oh and if its not taking longer than waxing your not being thorough enough. Every inch of the car has to be erased.ANd that mothers instant detail which smells like cinamon ifs coo too. I used over half a bottle on just one side of the car. IF the surface isnt properly lubricatd it can scratch the paint.

the Optima batteries?. . .next meet i'll bring down the following: Mothers Claybar, quick detailer, zymol wax, applicator pads, and microfiber cloths, Stoner yes u heard right. . .Stoner window cleaner (this stuff is the shizzle mah nizzle). Wat can YOU get me?!?
I am an auto detailer. What I do to "lubricate" the car is to get the sponge and soap up a section of the car.....ie. the door, or fender. Then flatten out the clay in my palm and rub it over the section until it is smooth. IF the soap keeps dryin up....make sure you keep putting more on. Clay is not meant to be "wasted" on the car. Me and my partner have used the same ball of clay for months of details.
