i have this coupon at earlscheib that i could paint my hole car for $299. i want to paint it like blue pearl. Do u think thats a good price? and a good place to paint it at. yea and if i do it, i might as well buy a bodykit. i'm thinking of tsunami front, kaminari side & back.

I was going to go with that company. . but i looked at other options. . . .all i can say is. . you get what you pay for. If your willing to get a good job on paint. . there's this one shop in Buena park that one of the members told me about. . i'll let ya know about their production when i get my car back soon. . . .

I dunno anything about painting but people I have talk to always say things like "I'm just gonna get a cheap Earl Scheib job". Like it's some type of "in-da-meantime" paint job. I say get it done right the first time and find out who else would do the same job for that price and what it includes and compare from there. It might be a good deal but I dunno sounds very inexpensive.

i know a couple of guys that have painted there car there and they do a good job if you plan to paint your car every several years. Just by looking at there car it looks good but im pretty sure it wont last very long. and it is true, you get what you pay for

tsunami front and kaminari sides and rear is the exact same bodykit setup I was going to get. And I already have an eternal blue vic. thats wierd. Anyways, I am with the rest of the guys, it will probably fade after a couple years...

Can someone explain why people talk about paint jobs costing in the same ballpark as a new hyundai while earl can give you the same (or similar) for just 299?
Is it that cheap?

the coupon was in the newspaper. the thing i like about the package is the 6 year warranty so they have to do a good job on it if they give a 6 year warranty but i'll still go around and see wassup. i have only 2 weeks casue the coupon expires on 4/30/03. Thanks for the help. more input would be great.

damn i dont have ***** to paint a new car. also resale value goes down. whole reason why i regret buying a new car. i wish i would have gotten a used car, would have alot of money left over to mod the car including a paint job. hmm maybe i'll get that package for my mom, her 89' red camry's starting to turn white on top.

a little played out no? jk but yea seems like everyone has that color now n e who if i could do any color it'd be the TL-S white or the "type-r"champion white or whatever. but yea doesn't $299 sound a little cheap for a paint job? i mean some people are payin' a g.. if your gonna do it.. i'd say becareful.

hey prodigy how much did you spend on yours? i know the really good ones take the car apart pretty much. this earl scheib one probably just tapes up the windows and lights and everything. i'm not thinking about painting, i just want to know....post pics of yours when its ready

thanks alex! yeahs but my mom don't like the paint job they did. . lol she said it's a little bit darker than the oem paint. . but she said if im happy and it looks nice. . .but if you wanna be a STICK stickler about it. . then yeahs. . it's a lil off and on. . it's pretty good for the price i got but yeahs. . if you want a match on match. . you'd have to get the whole car painted. . . but yup. that's me in the YANKEES jacket and my coche . . w00t w00t hailey tristen jade 01 represent

ohhs naws monica. .i didn't get the whole car painted. . just the pieces and parts of the fenders. . car's value goes down if i get the car painted. . .sooo yup. . don't want that to happen, especially if i still owe money on it! eheheh umms but yeahs. . if your gonna get the whole car painted. . besta get like pearl white. . looks gooooooood. . . saw a turbo z at the shop i got it painted at in peral white. .nice and smooth looking!
