How come everyone is afraid to race now? I want to know all the hot spots in Socal (SGV,OC,LAC,IE) I went to a 2k1 meet in dana point and this lil pu$$Y *** asian guy in an automatic lx was crying "Why were you driving like a maniac and peeling out" i wanted to slap him across his face.. in case you people forgot this is the street racing scene. not the lil girl im afraid to get a speeding ticket scene. If i see any 2k1 civic on the road im revvvvving loud and peeling out!!! i have a pine green ex coupe with a 5zigen sticker on my bumper if you see me i dare you to rev!!! I DARE YOU!

whats the point of revving and racing when everyones got the same intake header and exhaust? its not like we are the first owners of civics and noone knows how fast our cars with intake header and exhaust go, what kind of manufaturer has made a product out there without their testing and dyno sheets you are saying, well the race is for money and to see who is the best driver...... well lemme tell you this....... goto vegas and go play some slots or some blackjack, if you want gambling or want to win money, go do something with bragging rights, unless you got a hot custom setup to go with your victory and not over the counter parts that bolt on in less then 30mins.... then i wouldn't really make a big deal about people not revving...... im tired of this world of ricers who rev with their aem screaming im stock with no airbox underneath their hood, once again this is only to those who think they are hard **** and race ready with their highly tuned air funnel fan in their intake...... !!! thats what 3/4's or more of these street races are now adays....! the street racing days were over the minute street glow made an appearance at glenoaks.....

yea, i use to go to the races every friday and saturday night untill i almost got my car impounded from a bust where i had to take 7 people home in my civic... i just didn't see the fun in it any more, and i would always see some car accendents there. that last time i went to the races i saw a suv smash the fOck out of a hatch back. the suv jammed and the people in the hatch were uncontious. i just now race at the track, i don't want my life to be indanger, get higher insurance because of tickets, or worst hurt my civic...

i think the best place was glen oaks, untill all the ricers, cops and F@ F

that's true... nobody races no more... i mean i race occasionally with friends to mess around... and we never go over 60 and i always get rocked cuz i have the slowest car... lols but still i agree and think that there are too many regulations against racing and that it's overrated

I love to race!!!! ill race anything ... theres nothin better than smoking some guy in a 7th gen who has nice chrome 18 rims and the lame *** neon lights... some of you guys might not know what im talking about since you are the ones with the lame *** lights driving lx and dx automatic civics...
SOHC Non VTEC no sense in buying the car let alone trying to race it out.... I saw another guy at the Dana Point meet he had I/H/E cam gear, plasma coils,and a V-AFC, but what killed it all IT WAS AUTOMATIC!!!!! WTF? WHY THE FUQ WOULD YOU SPEND ALL THAT ON AN AUTO???? BETTER STICK TO SWIMMING.....

greenmile what are you running? im curious, i would like to maybe set up a track meet and give you a run, the rest of my motor will be built later next week... ill even have full interior and a 150lb sub box and with nitrous and 8lbs of boost my ride on street tires ran a 13.6 i really know my **** isn't fast compared to most boosted/ juiced cars, but i can still give a better run then stock..... and btw i have cam gears but they are stock

I mean a lot of us this is our only car and we don't want our stuff to get impounded and to top it off how could you live if you killed someone because your stupid *** was trying to be cool.
