i had one that looked like my civic but you cant find the 140mm drive belt anymore....i had to cut MASSIVE rear wheels wells ....lol. it looked like ***. hopefully ill find the 140mm drive belt before the meet cuz i wanna bust out a little civic.
hey, i've never heard of these things till i read this thread. i searched around for them, and they look f*in awesome! (expensive as hell, but still cool).....yeah, well the sites i went too didn't have the kind of info i was looking for, so can you tell a bit more about them, like what they run on, batteries or whatever. stuff like that. man, i wish i was going to the meet to see those things (they'd probably outrun our civics
)
) you can get two types basically.
1st type runs on a combination of batteries and nitro fuel. the batteries are to run the onboard radio equipment and these generally tend to be priceier than the electric ones but these pack way more power.
2nd type runs on just batteries. the batteries last like 10 mins if you have a strong motor and they arnt as powerful, since as the batteries die the loss of power hurts the performance of the car. these are alot cheaper as well but you do have to buy a recharger and battery cycler so check them out...
here a link to the most popular brand of rc cars.

btw ill post pics of my rc car soon... i just custom fit a .21 engine in my old nitro rs4-2. i just puchesed the nitro rs4-3...

It includes 4 bodies (Supra, BMW M3, Subaru WRX, abd Skyline) 3 quater tank of fuel, glow plug, paint, brand new set of tires, extra parts, aluminum turn knuckles, springs, 2 speed heavy duty tranny. Its worth the $300. I spent almost $800 on everything.

If I have monies left over after my bodykit, which I probably will, I'll let you know. Sounds like a good deal and I don't wanna pass it up but I do have my priorities.
