POST DRIFT SHOWOFF @ Irwindale Speedway
OK. I got there with my buds at 11am but didnt see any 7thgens. The parking was too huge to look around and I know that like 5 members said that they went but sorry I missed yall.
Overall. It was TIGHT
Im waiting for the next one. I didnt take a camera or a video recorder but if any of yall did. POST IT UP PLZ. I would like to see once again. 240's, rx-7s, corrolas, and beamers were definately representin. Watchin those cars drift made me want a beat up 240sx on the side to f**k around. Cant wait till the next one. Maybe next time we can all meet up b4 we head to the venue.

Rep Power: 0 hmm the black 7thgen i saw had black headlights and a kit and gunmetal rims or something.. there weren't any 7thgens in the show either. cept for si's. bummer. btw does anyone know what that green drift car was? looked kinda like a TL but im sure it isnt.

Rep Power: 0 u guys didnt see me there? i went in my civic too!(the yellow one w/ the cf hood and the rota slipstreams w/ the spoon "swan stickers on the door and the back bumper).. i saw NytRyder2k1(jeff, i beleive) there... his car is lookin clean w/ those seats.
i came all the way from the bay area to go to that show... it was hella coo! that crazy **** with the red 240/silvia/whatever was a crazy ****!! he kept swingin his s**t right next to the fence where all the people was!

the red car was a 180 i think ya that foo was sick.. you saw how we drifted right between that 240 and the wall.. that was sick..

Rep Power: 0 yeah, i knew it was a toyota something, cuz when the hood was open i saw the "VVT-ii" or something like that, and i know thats toyota's "Vtec"... 
and i didnt think that many people from the boards were gonna be there... i did see some 7thgen civs there tho, most of them were just stock w/ cleared headlights...

Rep Power: 0 Man.. I was there too but they made me park in the middle of futtbuck nowheres ville (a.k.a.) the butt end of the oval parking lot so no exposure for the 7thgen stickers(boo).. I was the silver sedan with the white 18 in. WHAT WAS WITH THE 2 HOUR LINE! fourtunately I got in as an award mester staff after my friend found me.
The light green sticker and dark green painted one was a chaser 100 while the other 2 were 180s and of course there was that s13 silvia. By far the red 180 tore it up especially when he drifted and stopped into the 1 carlength gap in between the s13 and the barrier after that one crash! And they fixed the car and had it runnin fine after only 1 hour!! FYI.. most of the jdm drifters were runnin 400 or almost 400 hp engines and running on 116 octane. I was at the award master booth where the trophies were helpin out with my friend who had the award master-rotora impreza right by the port a potty (talk about exposure) If anyone wants I have video of all four runs on vhs by the jdm's including the big crash into the barrier UP CLOSE! and the red 180 losin his bumper. Saw only a few 7th gens in the lot (none of which parked together) I assumed the turnout for 7th gen was few if not none. Good event tho.. one of the best.

Rep Power: 0 I was there pretty much between the second to last and last runs by the jdm pro's mostly I was sitting behind the desk with Mark n his Suby watching a bunch of videos on that lil tv-vcr he brought and telling ppl that i didnt know EXACTLY when the award presentation was gonna be... and then I left when all the mainstream staff came in cuz it got too crowded.. after that I got my spoon shifter box autographed by all the jdm drifters and the senior crew chief (that old guy) and i took off.. too bad I did.. I heard that drifterX had an open challenge after. Oh btw.. Its not like I was OFFICIALLY staffed there but I figure if youre gonna be at the booth ya might as well make yourself useful. Btw.. I was wearing a thermal shirt with a black shirt over it some beat up jeans n I had glasses real tall and real skinny.

Rep Power: 0 hmm.. dont remember bringing drinks but tha guy i was with was wearing a tan/ pladdish button up and he was like the only guy walking around with a video camera that wasnt press.. heehee nobody really said anything to us even tho we werent supposed to be videotaping. Got some good footage too! I hardly remember anyone else there at the booth seeing as tho I was slowly cooking my brain in that sun.
