Official Roll-Call for Marh 8, California Speedway
Come 7th Gen's... lets go kick some a** on the drags and show them what we're made of!!!!!!
Okay maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself. I know our cars aren't that fast, but thats not the point of going. You go for the fun of racing. I want to get a group together to meet at the track. If you are interested I will add you to the list below. I figure that if we are going to race..... it's best to race against your own kind.
All the info about Cal Speedway is provided on thier website. Just click on the Cal Dragway icon on the left. It costs $10 per person to enter the speedway and $10 for a Tech Card to race your vehicle ($20 total).
General rules:
~No cars quicker than 10 seconds will be allowed (I don't think that this is going to be a problem)
~Must have valid state driver’s license. No shorts, bare legs, tank-tops, bare torsos, bare feet permitted when racing.
~Loose ballast is not permitted on the racetrack, so be prepared to empty trunks and interiors of all loose items. Spare tires, jacks, etc. must be securely mounted or must be removed. Tools, jack stands, coolers, loose speakers, wheel covers, etc. are considered loose ballast and are not permitted on the track.
The speedway is located at 9300 Cherry Ave., Fontana. Gates open at 7:00 am for tech inspection. ONLY THE FIRST 500 CARS WILL RECIEVE TECH CARDS. Racing starts at 9:00 am.

I wanted to go to get my rematch against iamboo on the track, but thats not happning. are they open on sunday also, because if i dont work ill go that day.

Rep Power: 0 arrrrg...im soooooo tempted..but i just got my baby back wit a new engine...hopefully i'll already hit bout 800 miles on my car before march 8th...if so im sooooo down...so yeah put me down as a maybe..also arent we goin to need helmets..or no...or do they rent them to us...cuz im hella poor right now..and i dont have more than 20 dolllars...if even that...lol

Rep Power: 0 Hey if it's just you and me. iamboo.... than everyone else will just miss out on the fun of dragin'. I planed on going even if nobody from here was going to go. I just thought that if would be another great place for all of us to meet up at.

it's gonna be very interesting and close cause we both generally have the same mods on our cars... i'm not running with my 17's tho... so you might have an advantage there if you're just as good of a driver as i am or if not better... is this your first time on the track?? do you street race often ?? wanna run for money??[IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]

I definitly do want to run against you though. I want to see if I still got it or not
. Also just to see what my 7th is compared to others.p.s. Hows that turbo project coming along. Pm me if you like.

Rep Power: 0 Good luck guys. Make sure you guys tell me all about it at the BBQ. Iamboo beat my ex. Hes a pretty good driver but Swiftler used to fix up cars (one of those crazy white boys) and race. I think itll be a close one.

Rep Power: 0 AWW! Right when I take the stiffness off the suspension we get some 7th gens on the track.. I'm a definate no go but will show.. shock issues as well but I will get my ride real nice n shiny and try to be a good parking lot representative LOL. I'll be in the crowd... somewhere. I'm sure the masses will be impressed by the 7th gen's. GL HF
