Hey wassup everyone...on monday i went to san diego and got my rims...from jen spec V...and i decided that i wanted to do the DIY dash light to blue (change everything thas near the radio to blue instead of orange)...and let me tell u it was a bish to do...but at the end i got it done...BUT the gel sheet i got was too dark..so the color did not show up...so i gotta redo it again...sniff sniff...just wanted to vent...and let u guys know ahead of time..its pretty damn hard

Hey what's up man??? I did my dash lighting to blue already, but I didn't think it was that hard. All it is, is just time consuming!! Where did you get your gel sheets at? Do you have the blue condoms (or sleeves if you want to be technical) that go over the blubs???? It helps!! Let me know how everything came out at the end.

I did it with the gel and it works, but it's dim.

I ordered a bunch of BLUE "condoms" and they should be here soon. I'll post pics and start doing it for people...

i didnt have the gel condom..i had the gel sheets...so i had to cut the sheets perfectly to match the orange sheets...and for people that know me..i aint got patience for that kind of stuff...lol...pissed the hell out of me...

What's up SurfinTower20nBC??? Well I my gel sheets in L.A., only because I was in the area.....but I know where to get them too. You could to the some photo store. It's on Amar and Azusa. It's right next to that $3.99 pizza place. If you want we could meet up and I'll go with you if you want some time. Also if anybody wants to get some gel caps (or condoms), let me know and I could try to see what I can do. But it would have to be for a group of people.

i did it to my car it was so easy and it looks really good, and i got the stuff at Michaels it was like $3 for enough to do like 10 cars

Michaels is a craft store and i don't know what it is called but it is just clear plastic and i had to use two layes because it wasn't dark enough

you can get your condoms here. They're under Lamps Lead. I have an accord and i changed everything down to the radio to illuminate red instead of green.

Some high end radio alow you to change the lights just by pressing a button...I can change the writing on my HU, but I would have had to buy a higher model to change the button lights. That is pretty crazy to open the radio up though

I ordered the .12" it was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too small

so i'm exchanging for the .2", but i'm still not sure if that will fit.

I sent it back for exchange long time ago and it got lost.

I've been using this label film off the "Aquafina" bottles for the past few months now.

Looks a little dim, but hey it's blue! Not teal, not green, not purple, but blue... =)

Grab your keys, head out to Ralphs. You will need like 20 bottles though...heh, you can only use small squares from each bottle (1.5"x1.5").
You'll need to use double layer of the film . A single layer gives you a teal color.
