all i know is i'm getting it tomorrow. $97 bucks is hella cheap for an AEM intake. even injen goes for 130. you'd be lucky to find even a used aem for $100.

damn i called cartunerz and they said they dont think they can do it. he's supposed to call aem and i'm supposed to call back on monday. only if i had a credit card or lived near them... this one shop near me said if i can get them at that price he'll buy 5 of them off me for $10 more. so ya if anyone wants to make money theres your opportunity. i'll be willing to buy it for 110 as well. now you guys know why i cant wait till i'm 18... get me a creditcard so i can actually buy ish online...

AEM only makes SRI for autos and CAIs for manuals because when they dyno'd it, SRI had more gains then a CAI with an auto and CAI had more gains then a SRI then a manual. not sure if the injen intake will work with manuals tho.

I placed my order on Sunday and sent the M.O. on Monday. I got a call on Tuesday saying the blue AEM SRI for LX auto was on back order, so they asked me what color i'd like..... i said red. Going to pick it up tomorrow...Wednesday at 12:30pm.
I love their service.

All right!!! I picked up my AEM SRI for LX auto today. REAL DEAL!!!! BRAND NEW!!!
The guy is awesome...very sociable and stuff. Don't let this offer slip by!!!
Installation was actually as easier than the Injen CAI.
The AEM SRI for LX/DX auto looks funky.... you guys will see at the meet.
I have tried the following in my car:
1. Stock air box - Of course it's quiet and gives an even distribution of power throughout low and high RPMs. Restrictive stock air filter... K&N filter should fix it though.
2. Injen CAI (sold to Iceman) - LOUD!!! Loss of power at low RPMs, but past 3000 it gains. The quality and fit is all right because the extension pipe doesn't always fit perfectly fine. For others the Temperature Sensor doesn't plug right. Minor stuff...
3. AEM SRI - I love this! I definetely feel as much power as the Injen CAI, but not as loud. However, AEM intakes are known for making the "growling" or whatever noise... this one is no exception
. The quality and fit is nearly perfect because i couldn't fit the screw for the arm. (It requires some patience, i'll make it fit tomorrow).
Cliff Notes: GO FOR IT!!!
I should work for AEM or change my major to advertising..hehe
Feel free to shoot any questions.
