The JBL is cool, I am still deciding how much I like it. It has none of the "bells and wistles" of higher end amps, but it has a lot of power. I got it from Ikesound.com for $285. If you do get it I would most definantly recommend an infrasonic (aka: subsonic) filter. I blew my subs within a week without one...but maybe I should think about upgrading my 10s [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 417 ya, someone will throw a meet every once in awhile... topfuel threw one at city of industry and iamboo threw one at UCR. the next one is in downey at mcdonalds on sat, nov 2nd around 2 o clock. he said he(mocho) reserved the parking lot. here's the thread nov 2nd meet. i havnt gone to any meets yet and probably wont goto this one since its the weekend before my b-day, but ya next time we'll see whos bumps loudest...i havnt even gotten it yet, i went to go pick it up but it wasnt there yet so hopefully tomorrow... what subs do you have? mines probably louder but yours probably sounds better. i got 1 15" fosgate power hx2 in sealed box. 1000 watt rms, i was trying to get a ported box for it but i had to get it custom made and i said forget it. oh and what size inline fuse are you using? the amp uses 40 x 3 so we use 120? someone said 80 watts would be fine..

Rep Power: 346 I have two Infinity Perfect 10.1s. They are ported, and sound pretty good except for my rear dash rattling. According to their spec sheet the perfects can take 350 watts sealed, 400 bandbass, and 600 ported (but going too far under the tuning fequency is bad!). Anyway, i don't know how loud they get because I can't past 23 or 24 on my head unit and it goes up to 35. I haven't heard any distotion yet either!! For the Fuse I am using a 60amp at the battery I think ( it was part of a moster amp kit), believe or not. It hasn't popped yet, so it all good.

infinity perfects, not badd... i'm sure they sound much nicer then mine seeing that mines a 15" fosgate and yours is a 10" perfect. fosgate isnt exactly known for SQ especially in 15. i havnt even heard my ish tho, hopefully i'll be pleased with it. if yours is louder i'll probably go home n cry n add another sub. but then the box makes a big difference too, i think they're giving me a small sealed, too cheap to pay extra for a ported.

Rep Power: 346 A 15" is almost like having two 12"...you should blow me away!!! Anyway, I have never really turned my Bass too high, because my speakers get really loud in the front.
I have a ported q-logic box tuned to 38hz, and the bass boost is centered at 50hz which I have boosted 3dbs or so to about the same level as the tuning frequency. The q-logic came with the cheapest cardboard ports!! I bought some PVC for replacement, but they are about an 1/8 of an inch to fat...I need to work on getting those ports in there.
