Plans: So far, 2 hours of chillin, eating, showing off our cars at Mcdonalds and a good cruise to speed zone.

Rep Power: 0 Sounds good to me by the time this meet gets put togrhter I'll finally have some decent mods. 50 cars is gonna be hard, alot of people say they're gonna come but then flake out at the last minute. I think I would be down to go. The raffle seems like an alright idea too. 
Ideas for raffle....
Strut bars, short shifter, shocks, maybe a gift certificate to a car store? maybe tornactive.com? i dunno just some ideas....

but ya i dont think having assigned parking spots is a good idea, might be alot of flakes. as for the deal with them, what if not too many people show up? would you have to reimburse them? having my parents own a business i dont think thats a really good idea. its not too fair to them or the customers. maybe if we got half the parking lot...
raffle ideas... altezza grill, broadway mirror, air freshener.

Would I have to reimburse them? I’m the one that is going to pay for everything.
About the parking that shouldn’t be a problem for they’re business because there’s hold a old school car show there every Friday and they block off the parking lot. The parking lot has about 50 spaces.

Rep Power: 416 i'm saying if only like 10 cars show up, would you have to pay mcdonald back somehow cause they were expecting 50. but i guess not... and i'm sure more then 10 would show up anyways... oh one thing besides raffling the prizes is a contest.... maybe best car, best system, or since you guys/we are going to the track maybe who ever gets the fastest time... if it is at downey i'll probably be down to go cause its only half the distance of UCR or most of the other meets.

I live in Downey, haha.. 5 minutes from the Mc. Donalds. They always have classic car shows

Rep Power: 0 sounds like a good idea... looking forward to this one... i think the gift certificate thing that NytRyder2k1 suggested is the best idea... cuz some people that win the raffle might already have the part on their car... like if you raffle off a strut bar, maybe they already have one and its useless...

I felt kidna lonely at this last meet cause my car was bone stock and the only thing I had going for it was the audio system and my sub died two days before the meet. However I have two subs and a new amp coming in, and will have a new set of components in the front hopefully soon. And depending on things, hopefully will have some new wheels and tires, and who knows what else [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 yeahhhh this meet was a lot of fun i went to the one in UCR haha your funny guy i didnt bring my car tho [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] but my car isnt gonna be done with phase III till end of next summer but ill still make it out fo your gonna go all out with the prizes and i really the the part where we get our own parking space...thats a really good idea...and the part with giving away free stuff and trophies for best.... i like that a lot too! just gimme the time and date and ill go, this meet is gonna kick ****!

Rep Power: 0 I just want to let you guys know that this Friday I’m going down to McDonalds and to Irwindale speedway to get info so I can start organizing the meet. I was thinking last night about how I’m going to raffle that stuff away at the meet. I plan to sell some raffles tickets to you guys. What’s the prize of the tickets? Well, that depends on how many people go to the meet. For example, Say only 30 people go to the meet, I will sell the Neon lights raffle tickets for $8 bucks each but the more people that go the prize will drop. Another example. 30 cars, 3 buck a ticket for the indigo gages. Like I said before it all depends on how many people attend. I other words:
Depending on the Date of meet = How many people attend.
Depending on How many people attend = quantity of parts
Quantity of parts + people = the prize of the tickets.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

What would be better? a beach w/ a nice view, or a mcdonalds parking lot.

Rep Power: 0 I think the drive from Huntington Beach to Irwindale speedway is to long. Its about a hour besides downy is a perfect drive for everyone. About the lights and all that those were examples. That’s why I said and I quote “you guys are going to help with one thing and that is by giving me some ideas what I should buy for YOUR CARS and I will raffle them out”. Besides who wouldn’t want to have a chance to win neon lights for $8?
It’s a risk I’m wiling to take with the raffle. I just want to make if interesting and fun. Can a brother get some credit?
