spring compressor is just to be safe. but i've done it twice without it. just get proper eye protection and know what your'e doing and you'll be fine. the rears shouldn't be too compressed anywhoo "well to my experience" but the front is a little more compressed. But overall its safe to have but fine without it.

Sorry guys. Have fun tomorrow. My rear passenger tire is torn and I need an alignment for sure, so I'm going to have to take care of this all.

if you do need a spring compressor, u can always go rent one for free at kragens, auto zone.

Hey guys I wasn't able to get my suspension together. I guessed how it went together and I don't think I did it right. I will try tomorrow. I couldn't figure out what to do with this thing called the split sleeve or get the threaded sleeve to sit snug. I put the split below the threaded and the rubber split began to slide off the strut when I started to adjust it. Now I have to take it apart and I'm looking for pics of how to put one of these things on a GR-2. The Instructions aren't much help.

ima need help with my springs for my em2...let me know maybe we can help each other...cuz the dumass dude who had the civic b4 cut the dam springs so now when i drive it, it feels like im driving in the dam moon. so let me know man

Ya I put my rear's on today and it's really simple once you've done it once. Did you get new springs? I think springs are harder to install without a spring compressor, I didn't need one since the GC coilover springs are so tiny.
Soon I will put my front ones on and then I'll be a quasi expert.

My the chase car and my e46 friend is going down hill. This is the very start of the downhill. I laugh because I thought he was so crazy. Second time I thought he was going to crash his car.

Second part of the down Hill. My friend calmed down a bit. I made the mistake of driving his line instead of my own. Kinda messed me up a bit. But obviously he is a crazier/ better driver then me. Anyways he lucked out...after all those near misses, no damage to his car.

yea littlely the mooon lol, nah i havent bought em yet...im looking around for some...well i was thinking going with a 2 inch drop and eibach springs...dunno yet...someone told me they had m2 springs in city of industry for cheap so i dunno...has anyone heard of m2 springs by any chance?

so eibach springs? or springs that give a 2 inch drop? im confused.... and i've personally never heard of M2 at all...google gave some results but i havn't heard or seen anyone on this forum or the others that has talked about m2 springs. Save your money and buy something that has been thoroughly used by other members.

I have three of the four GC's on. I didn't have enough time to put both on tonight. I should be able to put the last one on tomorrow and make all the final adjustments by Thursday.
