*update 1* added some more pics of my progress. will post pics of final result, when i have free time
Well guys, i know everyone has been asking for pics. So here are some i took last sat
if u can tell, there is a color diff. between the 2 bulbs. the guy that gave them to me, gave me 1 4300k phillips 85122 and 1 4300k phillips 85122+ bulb. I'm gonna replace them with 5000k to get rid of the yellow that u see in the pics. And i took these pics, before i did the washer mod.

looks like ones color shifted the other is not. did you add any washers to the projectors? overall a nice project john. decided not to use the e46 shrouds?

actually, i am using them. i just took them off so u could see behind them. but yeah, they should look way better with the 5000k bulbs. wut do u think about the rotational aim??

the rotational is actually pretty good. i thought the z-step would be little bigger so its little hard to tell.
are those bixenon? they look huge.

yeah, they are bixenon. the z step doesnt look big in those pics, because i parked the car really close to the wall/door, and i took the pics during the day.

looks good, i think they are fine even without shrouds to be honest. get a new pair of 85122 bulbs and after around 100 hrs or so they will be nice and white. its not worth getting anything else.

just go order some 50w ballast and it comes with 4300k or 5000k.
get those...
btw, i have the TSX clear lens on my FX projectors......OMG, they are soo much clearER, sharper, and the output has increased from the OEM lense of the FX projectors..

hahha. how funny. i just finished installing my temporary retro right now as well =]
we should have had a lil retro install meet......lol
