I've always wondered the best way to do this. Do you set the headlights in place on the car and adjust the lights or is there an easier way?

you should ask sleepriceboi...he said he knew a away to be able to adjust the rotational on the fly.

I just make the hole big enough to fit the projectors with the screws in the housing. With the projector in the housing, i just a pc power supply to turn on the ballasts and i just rotate it until its perfect and just mark the areas that needed to be drilled with a marker.

Its not perfect, but i've always come out perfect or near perfect in my other retrofits.

i would just mount the headlights with the projectors on the car and aim them correctly. once i get them aimed correctly ill take them off slowly and finish it off
