400grit, 550 grit, 1000grit, 3000grit..then got a polisher foam and used meguilar head light polish to get rid of all the little scratches.

Its a bitch and takes a lot of time.

you only need to sand it when it forms that yellow haze you usually see on older cars from the UV damage. your head light is fogging then you need to reseal it kenn.

i dont know about your friend. usually yellow haze is caused by UV damage not fog. Fogging just allows water particles to fomulate, which can allow alge and such to grow in the head light. never of heard it damaging head light lens before.

just remember to wax your head lights as well when you wax your car.

wolfgang plastic sealant prevents the headlight from being hazy again..i would invest in it if you are sanding your headlights.

if not..you're gonna need to sand it again in a couple months.

Well, more like let borrow, he dropped off his car this morning. He probably wont get a free kit, but they'll offer him direct cost which is a lot cheaper. That's what they told me when I was interested in offering my car.
