how about like crayfish ? that is pretty popular now a days - but I don't know any places that aren't packed.
all you can eat chinese buffets? "All you can eat Meet" There's a place across from autobacs I think, called Hong Kong Buffet
theres also a buffet on Westminster blvd called Great Wall Buffet, one of the better ones I've been to.

hong kong food is more like fast food style chinese food, but it also has a lot of fruits and seafood as well. It's relatively cheap and there are a lot of variety. From crab legs, to frog legs, to chicken legs, ham, fish, whatever. I think it even has some cheap sushi too and self serve frozen yogurt or ice cream? Dinners cost like 12-14 bucks and a drink costs like 1.50. so I'm not promising you super duper class food here, i'm talking about affortable and relatively easy to swallow food.
importantly it's local to autobacs so everyone knows where it's at.
