Are you certain you have everything screwed tight?? I had a similar problem when I had my Vic. I noticed that the top nuts weren't tight. I would screw everything on and make sure you lube a bit, then go back, double-check and tighten up again.

Re: alright guys, need alittle help

did you position the spring correctly on the front? If not, thats the clunk. You have to make sure you clock the spring in the right location before tightening it down otherwise it will keep clunking.

i meant index the spring. make sure its sitting in the top mount and in the lower spring seat properly, if its not, theres your problem.

Re: alright guys, need alittle help

If you have the newest version of the Tein SS from Tein. You dont need 01 top mounts. All the new versions of the Teins come with two sets of spring seats. One set will work for 01-02 top mounts and the other set should work with the 03-05.

everyone told me the same thing when i was getting my tein basics install on my 04. biggest waste of money, since later we found out the spring seats i had would only work with my 04 top mounts.

this is more likely your problem. Unless your using the wrong set of spring seats.
