FS: OEM shocks $20 OBO
I am selling a set of 4 OEM shocks and struts from a 2003 civic lx sedan. It was never lowered on and there are no signs of leaks and 46,000 miles on them. The ride quality was a tad bouncy with stock springs over speed bumps since the day it came out of the dealer but I think all 7thgens are like that. It rides pretty well on normal roads though. I will put them in the empty tokico boxes so you guys can pick them up easier. Tokico blues is what I have on my car right now. $20 or best offer. Located in Rowland Heights 91748. Pick up only. Thanks.

i am riding on tokico blues with stock springs. front and rear suspension is more balanced now and ride quality is more stable. the rear is a bit less bouncy than stock, but there is still some. I was expecting the ride quality to improve to honda accord level, but not quite yet, haha.

I'm putting my stock suspension back in this Saturday...I will need to inspect my old stuff first to see if they need replacing. May or may not need yours. I will let you know by saturday night.

Re: FS: OEM shocks $20 OBO
woah. I actually may need these. lol.
I'll give you $20 for them pick up? if you think your 03 shocks/struts are bouncy, try out a 01's ride!
problem is I have a 01 EX coupe. the rear struts should fit though. part #s are coming up different, so I wonder are the strut settings a lot different on a 03 LX. If I recall, they tuned up the rear struts a bit.
shock mount bolts are different but yeah I basically just want swap out my rear struts, as the ones in the rear aren't even (one is new and one is old). pretty annoying when you're sensitive to the road condition and you drive a pos civic.
will get back to you once I find out they fit for sure. i mean for 20 bucks, if they don't handle right i'll just throw what I have back on.
