I'm going to get there early on Thrusday morning. I called around and pretty much a lot of stores (i.e. Target, BestBuy, Circuit City....etc)will have units for purchase. I'm going to call on Tuesday and/or Wednesday to make sure. I'm going to buy 2 of those suckers, my brother is going to meet up with me on Thursday.

i work at best buy and i havent heard anything about them being on back order. oh yeah, and i get to go in front of all of you....and i dont have to wait in line.

each EB games is only getting 20 units along with each toys R us. You can assume than that Best buy will have 20 units only, unless they havea bigger allocation and if they do thats not many units more.

i would get it just to sell it. if the shelfs have alot of them people would not pay more for it. they would pay normal. but for the people that are buying it just for themselves thats hardcore gamer.

the guys sitting outside are a bunch of goobers! they have no lives but to play games. I am just gonna wait till dec or jan. you never know of the ps3 will have any bugs like the xbox 360 did when it just came out.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah that's sad!! Poor guys have no lives. I seriously hope that I could get atleast 1 of these consoles. I'm only doing this for the money that's involved. Has anybody gone to eBay and typed in PS3?? People are going nutts to get their hands on this unit. To me it's a way to come up on some heavy $$$.

I don't know how many they'll have. I'm guessing 50/50-70/30 in favor of the 60gb. When the xbox360s first came out, my store got 11 premiums/8 cores but I have no idea how they allocate it. CC doesn't give dibs to employees either.
