i just got my wife a 98 teggy, its a salvage because it got the interior stripped and the bumpers stolen,either way i bought it and it was 100% in tact and looked like new.
The dmv is saying since its a salvage it has to have a brake lamp inspection done.... sounds simple, but its proving to be very difficult to get done.
Im in san diego and no shops here know WTF im talking about.
anyone ever had to do this??? Lo cal ?? where??

had to do it on a 94 civic that I fixed when it got totalled. Its a brake & Light inspection. If i remember it was like $50

Find a place that is state certified with the DMV's state BAR (aka REF).

my out of state tag expired in march... so it could be worse..
