does anyone knows if dumping used coolant on the street or in the toilet is illegal in california? If so, where do i take the coolant to? thanks.

its illegal everywhere. you'll goto jail or pay a huge fine most likely if they catch you, and you'll be polluting your drinking water supply. take it to an auto shop, most will take it. prolly even a store like advance or kragen.

we have kragen/autozone/pepboys here in socal...no advance...but dumping any car fluids other than clean water is illegal...so take it to an autozone and they should take care of it
