quick question, will the tein basics fit on a 02? since you need the 01 top mounts regardless?

All you need are 16mm to 14mm adapters and they'll fit. Ksport sells them for like $1.50 a piece you will need 8.

they would, but i dont have the 01-02 ball bearing adapter piece thats gold. i only have the green one for the 03-05. You would need to get that piece from tein.

do you know how much that would cost? the group buy fell through and i need struts bad, both my front are blown and my bushings are out. i want to just put the tein basics and get new bushings.

i dont know the cost, your going to have to call tein and ask. i dont think it would be that expensive. All it is, is a metal ring that sits on top of the spring and the ball bearing. The ball bearings are different between the 01-02 vs the 03-05. Without it, your going to get that nasty sqeaking sound on turns.

Or you can just get 03-05 top mounts and strut bearings from the dealer.

i think you can get the 03-05 top mounts to fit. the shop some how got the 01-02 top mounts to work on my 04.

i'm by cerritos. off the 605 between the 405 and 91. Yeah i still have the sides. It's been a slow process since i'm doing like 20 things at once with my other car as well. just let me know you can come pick them up or if your close i can just take them off at your house. there still on my car since i live in a apt and i dont have much storage space.

the coil overs are already off. i have a spc camber kit too if you need that i'll give it to your for $80.

i'm going to try to sell these locally first, since shipping side skirts is a pain. But i'll let you know if i decide to open these up to shipping.

you can probably make it work with the 04 mounts. my coilovers are already assembled. it just uses the 04 mounts. you can probably make it work since the shop i went to made 01 mounts work on my 04.
