Rep Power: 370 Resurrect SoCal 7thgen Meet
Okay this is my third try, aka the reunion meet. We are LONG overdue for a REAL meet. I think we all can truthfully say that SoCal has never been the same. I want to liven things up and have something we can all talk about afterwards. A day where we can all chill, talk, take pictures, perhaps cruise too! All I'm asking is ONE day!
I'm looking at dates January 6th, or 7th? Potluck/BBQ at a park in the Thomas S Burton Park in the Heights. Adress will be posted at a later date along with the lists.
What do you all think?

I haven't really thought much about another thread for the meet due to a busy schedule this summer so this is back on you Alan and whoever wants to help. Mainly set up the date and what to do. Hopefully you guys can grab 10-15 og guys for this. Good luck!

Rep Power: 328 Alan, the meet planned was under the title 626/909 meet and we just dubbed it "The OG Meet". Either way, the thread can be found HERE.
I'm interested in attending still, although school starts up on Aug. 21st and those Saturday golf classes are gonna be killer!!!

Rep Power: 370 How about Aug 4th, 5th, 11th or 12th?
This gives us approx. two weeks to set this thing up.
I will go with Jeff's original plan, seems like a wonderful thought out plan.
Thank you Chase for finding the thread.

I'm going to hopefully keep this a small gathering with all OG guys who were at my first 2 meets and members from 2001-2003. This is just going to be a chill gathering to see how everyone is doing and have a good time.
Since there was not much feedback on the agenda, I decided to just figure something out and it is all listed below. Doesn't matter what car you have, but as long as we see you! I am not saying noobies can't come...but the only reason i'm setting this up is that the old 7thgeners requested it. If you would like to come that is no problem at all.
All of you have seen my format before so its the same procedure to sign up:
Name - Vehicle - Guests? - Dinner?
The time frame has been set up accordingly and we will have a reserved section as usual at The Boat
Date: June 3rd, 2006
Where: William Steinmetz Park
1545 S Stimson Ave
Hacienda Heights, CA 91745
2:30-3:00pm
Arrive at Steinmetz Park
Watch everyone roll-in
Take photos if you'd like
3:00-5:00pm
Play some Basketball
Hang out and chat
*not sure if you guys want any munchies or drinks...your choice if you'd like to bring something*
5:00-6:30pm
I was planning on a cruise through Turnbull canyon...CRUISE ONLY and down through painter ave and mar vista street in whittier then loop back up on colima rd and to The Boat for dinner
*PLEASE GIVE ME FEED BACK ON THIS* If its a go then I will have a map for everyone to follow.
6:30-8:00pm
The Boat
1390 Fullerton Rd # 105
Rowland Heights, CA
We will park underground and eat dinner there. It is Thai food...very nice selection of noodles, rice, soups, etc...Food, drink, and tip usually runs about 8-10bucks depending on what you order. Most of you should have already been there, so there is no need for me to convince you.
8:00-8:15pm
Chill outside, take pics, whatever
8:15-night
Open for suggestions
We can go cruise somewhere or go chill out at some place. Please give me some suggestions on what we can do...
That is it on my part for now. Since this is gonna be on a smaller scale I will not send PM confirmations like before. I will expect you to update me if you can't make it. Thanks in advance guys/gals.
MAKE SURE YOU LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING TO EAT WITH US AT THE BOAT!!
Again...here is the format to sign-up...you can always update guests later on this thread!
7thGen Name - Real Name - Vehicle - Guests? - Dinner (Yes/No & total #)?
DUE TO THE BUSY SCHEDULE OF ALL THE OG GUYS I HAVE OFFICIALLY POSTPONED IT FOR A LATER DATE THIS SUMMER. Please keep a lookout for a new thread in the future. Thanks in advance.
