if I lower my car... what happens?

You guys have to help me with this one. I am new to this so... please bear with me. I just bought the 2005 civic vp, and I want to do some changes to make look good. I have seen so many cars with lowered. It looks real cool but the people are saying ride will suffer. Is it true? How much lower would be the best without sacraficing the ride?

thanks in advance.

get good shocks and springs, you should be fine.

yuo can go as low as u want as long as you get good shocks and springs. OR complete systems like tien or megan ask dru106 for testimonial.

I agree, my ride sucks...... my parents are bitchin i wish I never did it.. Its no fun!! I hate driving my car... However, it does look nice, it stands out, its unique, and you'll prollie end up spending a whole lot of money on it .. it gets addicting to keep moding it. .... but if you want to get the ladies attention then maybe u might want to drop it. chicks dig that

my ride is stiff as ****......and i love it. My car handles better....looks better.....and feels sportier. As far as tire wear.....get camber kits, problem solved.

Drop it on the Eibachs Pro-Kit. I love it feels and looks great. I suggest a good set of shocks if you want a smooth ride. Might need camber kit for rear.

Teins... as long as you gonna mess with it, you might as well go low.

You can drop it less than 2 inches and not need a camber kit or shocks. Check the suspension forum for the FAQ on this...
