My husband actually told me to post this here as a cry for help:

This week, I was followed home by a caucasian male in a black 7thgen civic. I know what you're thinking: you shouldnt have gone home..Well, I didnt notice the guy until I was on my street, and when I was on my street, i thought it was my neighbor...

Anways, he stalked me to the point that he even parked behind me for a while..and then he passed me up, turned around and came back...he looked at my car AGAIN..and then he left..

Don't think I'm paranoid..It really went down that way..the next morning (wednesday, i believe) I found grease marks of hand prints on my bumper..So yeah, my fears came true..he came back for parts...My cousin in law is saying "yeah, you're marked for death...he knows where you live and he's comin' for parts or even the whole car one day." And even this morning, I have found new grease marks on my bumper, including scratches.

PLEASE HAVE PITY ON ME!!! It's already stressful that my husband is deployed, I have to work full time and hardly get to see my son, I haven't had my rag in [going on] three months (sorry for that girly info) ..gas prices are up the ***... My in-laws keep buggin' me to bring my son over there when my schedule right now is ridiculous..

PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!! You can't get the lip anyway b/c the first one was stolen, my husband learned his lesson, and he ****taking someone's advice and not posting SECRETS..hehe****. IF YOU ARE THE STALKER, I WILL PAY YOU FOR A BRAND NEW LIP...just leave me in peace..I already have alot on my plate right now, and this is really stressin' me out...

Pls leave Jalen-O alone (yes, the name of the car is Jalen-O like Jay Leno...cuz duh, our son's name is Jalen..quick plug)

but yeah. You should install those damn annoying alarms for the car for your husband. (One of those ones that sound off if someone walks within a couple feet from your car)

Its damn annoying... whenever I walk by this one ghetto integra, the car chirps for about 3 seconds. Didnt even touch the damn car. REALLY ANNOYING. But I think it gets the job done.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Is your husband part of the Corps? Ive only served in the sand for about a week till my d/c. T0T. But yeah.

I hope u catch that sneaky basturd...

i would take off the info about the lip, i would think it only helps the 'stalker' get it off. i would def report it to the popos(although they probably wouldnt do anything, it wouldnt hurt to report it). maybe put a video camera on it?

have any detailed description on the black civic? any mods? what did he look like? there was a point in time when it seemed like someone was coming on here to target fellow members. it seemed like everyone was getting jacked

hahah why yes...we actually met b/c we were in spots together..LoL i guess proud to say we're the 1st spots marriage...hehehe...but i did call the cops..and they said even if they got the prints or whatnot, i can't prove that he was trying to steal anything...they said the best they can do is put my neighborhood on patrol.. (so i guess that's something) ..that's the best they can do...

and i guess i'll reply to everyone's thing here..My husband is in the Army.. SGT Reyes to be exact (hoooah!) in the sands til March 2007.

And i'm thinking of getting AutoPAGE..it's a type of alarm that has several features..one is that there is i guess a silent alarm that only pages me if there's something wrong...(kinda like a car pager) my friend has it on his truck and he said i should get the newest version of that alarm system..thought? comments? suggestions?

o and i dont have a detailed description of the car...when he parked behind me, he parked so close that i couldnt see the licence plate (n i'm not about to get outta the car..i was alone at night)..i only knew it was a 7thgen civic when he actually turned around to look at my car again before he left..so he's a white guy in a black civic...ima say college student..but heh, that can be ANYONE from the frat row down the street.and ANYONE of their friends that doesnt live there but has major access to me....demet.

I remember you... you were there with your son and husband when I picked up the grill from you guys at Best Buy.

Anyways, whoever this jerk is, he is obviously a coward that can't earn a living to afford a front lip. Tell the police, and make sure to mention that your husband is a seargant in the Army, and he is away for the moment... in my opinion, that might cause them to favor you more.

I'll pray for you to be safe, cause that's what concerns me the most, not the car.

Basically with a kill switch on in ur car it keeps it from starting up and hooks up from your battery. It kills the battery so to keep someone from starting ur car. My homie can hook it the switch up anywhere in ur car like one person took their cruise control out and put it there and another under their seats u know wherever. U just click the switch on and off inside the car to control whether u want it on or off.

u just buy 2 or 3 parts from auto zone less than 10 bucks in materials but he will charge like 20 bucks to do it plus he did it on my car. U can just come to my house if u want and get it done cause I understand what ur going through just the other day some dumbass guys in a scion was following but i lost their asses. With my swerving and e braking into the other direction and u know those scion xB's will flip doing that lol.

since it seems to be that the person(s) were interested in your front lip, I suggest you take away the temptation and remove your lip, or have a friend remove it.
When your husband comes back then put it back on.
The point is to get your car to not attract as much attention for now...
An alarm would not work if they are only after exterior parts, those can be taken off without ever making the panel sensors go off...
Just remove anything that can be easily removed from your car.

best thing you can do is take anything off the car till your husband comes back. obviously when he does, he is in good enough condition that he can take care of himself, and will be able to get anyone who is messing with the car away.
At very least "crimes of passion", like beating someone to a pulp when you catch them messing with your car, are much easier to get away with when you have defended this country like he has.

As for removing stuff, i am sure someone here would be willing to help you do it.
Looking at the mod list you have alot there so i guess that isnt a great option.
