Placed your order, or put your name on the waiting list? There's a difference. Placing your order means that you have signed a contract which identifies the specific VIN # of the car you are buying. Putting your name on a waiting list is where you, in most cases, put down a deposit and in return your name is placed on a waiting list and when the car comes in you then go through the contracts process.
I don't think you could have actually ordered an '06 Si yet. The reason I say this is because dealerships haven't been given VIN #s for any of the '06 Si's yet.
In my case, I have put down a deposit for an '06 Si and am on the waiting list. Once the dealership has a VIN # I can go through the contracts process, even without the car being there.

Congrats. When you got time to work on my car wes? ha ha. My backseat and trunk is waiting....LOL let me know. I'll be on the lookout for parts for the new si for you. I'm talkin to my friend who's running the debut of the Si at SEMA. He has a few manufactures that are working on some stuff for him and his Si. I just need more details. I'll let you know when I find out more.

You can expect the '06 Si to cost about $1000 more than the '05 Si. This is a guess based on historical data. Honda has to be careful with the pricing--the Si has to be a couple thousand less than the RSX-S, along with the Accord too.
Yeah thats true. I was told about the 1% at the Honda party out in Hollywoood. Thats where I got pricing. The dealer did not have price nor would they give me an estimate, they didnt wanna give me incorrect info.

if you can (or if you don't really care) try to get it where the white plastic wrap is still on it (ask if you can take it off in front of them). don't let them prep the car, they (referring to most dealerships) don't know how to wash cars and they will install the dealer swirl mark option. i ALWAYS tell them not to wash my car whenever i get any service/maintance. think about it... they use the same dirty wash mitts/chamois on the majority of the cars. don't believe me... go look on the lot and look at the cars finishes in an angle (especially the dark colored cars).
