Rancho....
So today it's official. I paid my enrollment fees and whatnot and now am enrolled at UTI. 
But seeing as how it's a hour and a half drive from long beach to rancho cucamunga (sp?) i'm relocating to rancho. Got a nice little place about a 20min. drive from the school. I start school Oct. 31 so anyone else live in rancho or going to UTI? I don't know anyone out here.

Rep Power: 319 UTI isnt per unit..they have different courses u can take...lowest being $23,000...but there is always financial aid...also i used to live in rancho cucamonga...i moved to K-town recently tho...dannn remember i'm denny's homie from GHHS but i moved to rancho a little before denny did...lol what coincidence

Rep Power: 334 he told he there 50% learning theory and 50% hands on training. he said we can start taking our ASE test 3 months after we start but can't wear them till after we have 2 yrs experience. classes mon-fri and we get a week off for chirstmas and the usual holidays. then these's the student drag 
and we can take our cars in one saturday of the month to use the equipment to work on them. class have about 30 students. i don't remember everything but is there any homework?

Rep Power: 269 I never applied. I dont wanna be a mechanic. I just went to UTI to learn all I can about cars. Im going to CSUN to learn Automotive Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
And to PennyKnotoff: Its more like 75% learning 25% in the lab. You can take your ASEs when the appropriate time for them is. That one saturday of the month thing JUST started last week. Dude, if you go to the student commons, there is a bulletin board with what they call, "Town Hall" Is all the complaints that the students make. Dude, Im not gonna say much because I dont want to spoil it for you, but when you actually start going, progessively you'll see what kind of crap this school does. Crappiest computers. There is no internet access. The Student Resource Center has 10 computers in it. The programs All Data and Shop Key are always down and there is NO KEYBOARDS! None whatsoever. Its just so many things dude. Yeah you learn. Oh your gonna learn a lot, just the way the school handles everything is a joke!

was the only reason you didnt apply was cuz it wasnt what you wanted to do or that you thiought you couldnt make it?
