If nobody else has any suggestions, then I'll organize it... My recommendation is at Fusion Cafe (Clairmont Mesa Rd. and Convoy). I've been up there only a few times because I usually go to Tapioca Express, but I always see a European car meet there. They meet up like every weekend, VW and Audi's, about 20+ of them. Fusion is good so that people can get something to eat, drink, and chill from the hot weather. And to make it more interesting, bring a girl. As cool as it may seem to you guys, I feel weird about meeting up with all guys. Cheetahs(the strip club that got sued) is right across the street from Fusion if we need to lower our testosterone level, lol.

What about at the next races at the Q? The next date they are running is the Fri the 24th, so we could get the word out by then hopefully. $5 to get in, $20 to race, and virtually all the parking we can get. They run from 6-12 so we could either meet up before hand and get some food then head to the races, or just meet there to begin with.
Just an idea, im up for any other locations in SD as well.
Edit: You are allowed to bbq and tailgate there as well, so if somebody has a little webber grill or something we could do burgers and dogs.

There is a nice park that is hidden away right by TPHS in del mar.. Unless there is a soccer or lacross game, there should be plenty of parking. Im almost positive there are grills there as well, but Ill be right by there today, so I can swing by and make sure.

But yeah, i personally would prefer like an afternoon time...instead of evening. But thats just me. THe beach sounds good. In a few weeks, its gonna be sunny allthe time, so i wouldn't worry bout the weather.

Seaside parking lot in Cardiff is a great place by the beach. It has a HUUUUUUGE parking lot, bathrooms and of course.. the beach. They do close the gates at sunset, so we would have to go someplace else at nightfall if everybody still wanted to stick around together.

So far, I've done the following things at the meets in San Diego:
1. Met up at a gas station and drove around La Jolla. Took the coastal road all the way down to Mission Bay Belmont Park. Went to the highest level at Horton Plaza and took pictures. Then drove from Downtownto Coronado across the bridge. So, the beach was cool, but again it was just a bunch of guys that didn't know each other. We didn't hit the sand, but it wouldn't be bad. I guarantee that parking will be a big problem though... Summer in San Diego...
2. I set up my meet at In-N-Out in Mission Valley. There was a good turnout, then we all headed over to The Q. At the Q, everybody split up and spread out and we never saw each other again that night. NoFriends, I think you were there...
3. Fiesta Island. I don't quite remember what went on that day.
How about surfing? Does anybody wanna surf?

Surfing would be outta the question I think. Im just assuming most people dont have equipment or know how to.
My vote goes for Seaside parking lot. Like I mentioned earlier, there is plenty of free parking, utilities, beach access, and its right on the 101 if we want to take a cruise up the coast.

I just happened to go seaside today to surf, and I think its the best bet. No speed bumps, and as always hundreds of open spots.
If I can get a few more to agree on it, then I will start another thread hammering out all the details.
