LX to EX exhaust conversion

Finally, I finished putting together my LX to EX exhaust conversion w/ RSX-S muffler. Thanks for all of those that helped with the parts. So i've noticed slight gains (hp and torque wise). Unfortunately, i'm not really in to doing the whole DYNO thing so I won't be able to tell you exactly what the increases are. Here's the breakdown on the expenses and parts:

OEM EX Header
OEM EX Downpipe
OEM EX Cat - $80 (all 3)
RSX-S muffler - $30
Other Parts and Labor
(including removal/install, 2.25 piping, flanges, extended O2 sensor, and a whole lot of welding) - $207

TOTAL - $317

I don't know whether I overpaid or not, but I think the price was extremely fair. My wife will be posting pix once I get her a copy of ADOBE photoshop (she's the grand master uber expert at it.. )

if you have any questions, i'll try to answer it on this tread.
THANX FOR THE SUPPORT, THIS SITE HAS HELPED IMMENSELY!!!

NEXT PROJECTS:
- OEM Foglights
- JDM RSX sidemarkers
- Mugen-style front lip

Fu(k that! for that price you could have bought a header got'n custom pipeing done and had the rsx-s muffler welded on for 15 bucks.

there is realy no diffrence that your going to get from going from a lx to ex exhaust.
the only reason for it, is so you can buy certin cat backs, thats pretty much about it.

but hey props to you for going trew that whole process.

$15? where?
b/c when i asked around for prices, everyone told me to stick to my mechanic cuz he was the cheapest. And besides, air flow w/ ex exhaust manifolds are better than the lx's.

there's a couple of places in the valley for 15.

and the flow on the ex is not better than the lx thats a mith.

only real diffrence is the cat placement. to tell u the truth u get better back pessure with the lx exhaust sceen the cat is right at the beiging and the rest is all pipe.
