mardi gras in san diego whack

Anyone else think that the mardi gras in san diego, was just overpriced and stupid pretty much. cops were yelling at girls for showing boobies, all drinks were like 8 bucks, 5 dollar atm fees, security yells at you a the bars for trying to take a drink and walk around. just boring cause your left 80 5 walking around wearing beads not as drunk as they should be cause forgot to bring enough money yelling beads for **** its mardi gras. should have saved my money and skipped it. anyone feel the same way?

Yeah, they're pretty strict down here. Where did you go? If it was downtown then you can forget about getting drunk.

i'm starting to hate sd...everything here has strings attached, and is ridiculously overpriced, and i mean EVERYTHING! >_< maybe i'm being bitter, but that's how i feel nowadays, while UCSD slowly leeches me of more money every year.
