I hope this idiot (Paul DePodesta) knows what he's is doing!!!
As far as trades go and releasing players, I didn't like it. We had a winning team...all we needed was pitching dammit!!
What do you guys think?

I totally agree! I can see some players go like Shawn Green, he's been struggling for a few seasons now, but letting Finley go and Beltre go was a mistake! I just hope they can give us a good season!
Titanium Metallic. You got a problem with that?

I can see letting Beltre go as he had many seasons to show his worth and finally his contract year he does it. However, since he was hurt his timing was slowed and thus enabled him to make better contact. Plus, it is unsure if he was on "the clear" as well. Look at what happened to the Yankees with Jason Giambi.
The Shawn Green deal I am kind of sad to see happen becuase I actually liked him. He gave the Dodgers a good face, esp with the badboy of baseball Milton Bradley. However, with the players that we got, esp Navarro, I can see why we did it. Plus with the money that we "saved" this year, we were able to go out and get Derek Lowe. I think he will surprise many and be our major ace this year.
I was extremely surprised they resigned Perez to such a big contract, esp after his shjtty playoff performance last year. I mean in his carrer he is 76-72, and 0-2 in playoff with an ERA higher than the $24 million he got on his re-sign.
Finley, that was bullshjt. He wanted to stay, he said he wanted to stay, and they let him go. I also wish they would have kept Jose Lima. Man he was the energy that the Dodgers needed after they let Paul Lo Duca go. Plus his regular season and the 1st playoff victory for the Dodgers since 88. Way to reward the right guys.
The other thing is why the hell let Cora go?????? You break up THE BEST SS-2B combo in the major leagues. And to replace him with Kent? Yeah, he may have some better power numbers, but hes gonna need a walker next year in order to go and turn a double play. I hope they try and do something at third becuase I really dont like having Valentin there. Palbra en la calle (word on the street) is that they will be platooning him with their next prodigy 3rd baseman in AAA.

He got fired becuase of certain reasons, plus the whole GAME OVER thing wasnt the best after Gagne blew 2 back-to-back saves mid-season. I personally didnt like that in the first place, I thought that the Guns-N-Roses was ok, even tho that was a bite off of Trevor Hoffman and his AC/DC "Hells Bells" entrence. Hoffmans entrence is the best ever and Id rather hear that than Gagnes.
