"Racing Fuel" at Unical 76...

Apparently, the Unical at the corner of Cabot Rd. and La Paz has four pumps that fill your tank up with 100 octance gasoline. Is this common? Tonight was the first time I saw that.

Some 76 stations have it at the pump. I used to fill up once a month with it on Gilbert Ave & Orangethrope Ave in Fullerton by the airport. That was until we found the good 118 octane (no cats) and 105 octane (with cats).

hahaha dude its in your mind, your thinking cuzz ur uping the octaine on your car its makeing it go faster witch is not true. if we do a base run on a dyno with lets say 89oct and then do a run with 100 oct you wont see a diffrance.

Yeah I go to that station sometimes, never get the racing fuel though.

My buddy gets it for his Jetta on occasion, waste of money in my opinion.

It might even mess up your oxygen sensors, cats, or maybe leave extra deposits.

Stick to 87... 89 if you're knocking. 91 if you want to waste.
