The curse of so cal strikes again
my car is pretty f'cked up now ...
I'm driving along the 405S, minding my own business when a red f150 decides to merge into my lane. we're both going about 70-75 and I get pushed to the right ... I mash by brakes, overcorrect when turning back left and my car runs almost perpendicular to the freeway, causing me to t-bone a blue toyota tacoma ...
we pull over, info yada yada ... I assess all the cars' damages ... blue 95 tacoma has a really f'cked up passenger door. .. from what I can see, the red f150 has a cracked bumper and it's only bent on the right side ...
my car ...
my bumper fell off on the freeway somewhere, my driver's side headlight is smashed in, driver's side fender is really jacked up, driver's side fender well fell off and my steering is (obviously) out of alignment. (wtf? my airbag didn't go off??). my cf hood isn't touched, however on the driver's side, the frame (?) is messed up because when I close my hood, it doesn't align properly (dunno how to explain it)
pics will be up tonight ...

That same situation happened to me three times the first month I had my car. Luckily I'm insane. To drive out here you have to be. I know I don't have the fastest car on the road but if im ahead of your minivan don't try to muscle me out of an on ramp so you can be one car ahead. Just let me go. It won't kill you, your stupid highway antics will.

I know. I still may get it ... money's gonna be ultra tight ...
doesn't seem to be any chassis damage ... motor still runs fine, but steering is out of alignment. tires still seem good, just cosmetic dmg except where the driver's headlight was smashed in ... the radiator support (? ... hood support?) was bent at that point
driving without a bumper ... true c0ld air jDm y0!

^^ haha. jay-dee-em 4 l1fe.
Anyways, when i saw this title, I was kinda like "no way." That really sucks. Now Im scared to go to school everyday
.
Good luck fixing that. The other day, my dad was telling me about a body shop that cleaned up his bimmer's passenger door and qp for very cheap. They did a really good job, too, so if you want a number, give me a call.
btw, that's why i do my best to stay away from merging cars/lanes.

w0w all of that sounds like exactly what happened to my car. hopefully that red f150s insurance covers it cuz it'll be like 5k worth of damage.
Its a celebration bitches!

actually as far as suspension goes, every -looks- ok ...
chassis -looks- ok ...
the front metal part (where the bumper attaches to w/ styrofoam) is untouched
I checked out the LCA's and they actually looked ok ...
like I said, from what I can tell, most of the dmg looks like it's cosmetic ... except that metal part behind the driver's light =\
