My brother's 02 RSX got broken into early this morning at UCI. They broke his front driver window, took out his whole panel that housed his headunit, cd holder and emergency light button -- jerks also took his sub and amp. It happened sometime between 4:30 and 5:00 am and they hit 5 other cars besides his -- an older integra and an IS300 are the only other two he knows of cause he saw the aftermath on those two cars. The kicker though is that the guys were pros and there are no prints on any of the cars. I feel so bad for him cause it was his 2nd day at the dorms of his freshman year of college.

Has anyone else had this problem at UCI and if so, is there someplace safer to park like a security booth that anyone knows of or anything? He is just going to put his stock unit back in and not put back in a new sub and amp because of the likelihood of it happening again. Just crappy cause he just got his car back last week from being in the shop cause some punks egged him as he was driving down the street and jacked up his door. People just plain suck sometimes!

I think they have started to hit Irvine because people are rich there -- cause you have people like my brother who have done ish to their cars -- unfortunately makes em easy targets.....Paranoid about my car now :-/

Yeah, the insurance adjuster is supposed to be calling us either tomorrow or the next day to figure out if everything will be covered. Our agent said that possibly the sub and amp would not be covered because they weren't "attached" to the car, even though technically they were cause the wires are attached to the car. But if they aren't my dad said it would probably be covered under homeowners insurance -- so we will see what happens

Worst school is SMC, first my stereo was stolen from my old 300z, second time they stole brand new shift **** and 2 cds. Before it happened again I sold the car. Some people can't get enough of it, keeps stealing. Sorry to hear that happens at UCI also.

God damn those thieves! Since this is happenin occassionally, I think I'll head down to UCI to do some huntin, where ever it occurs tha most, u gotta follow tha thieves pattern. They always leave a pattern u know, think like them and you'll get them. I'll do that when I have my free time at night...cuz most thievery occurs at night right? Just wait till they witness guerilla warfare...they won't know wha hit them. Always set up a trap...always set up tha bait! Let them play ur game...don't play theirs ok? Other than that, I feel sorry for ur bro...I can help him catch tha thieves if he allows me to shoot their ***** with air guns so they can suffer from it. LOL!

That is why I never bump my stereo when I'm around anywhere my car is going to be overnight...also I flip down my faceplate at night when I pull into my apartment complex....

IVC has been hit a couple times also...that school is just a few miles from UCI.

i just graduated from uci. That stuff happens all the time. One time i went out into the parking lot and saw a car on bricks and a spare tire. Later found out some1 in a camary had reported a missing spare tire and some other guy report for missing rims but had a set of bricks and a spare tire. I think the only thing you can do is an alarm and dont make it so obvious if you have stuff. Irvine isnt such a safe place anymore. Few years ago some girl got raped by a safety escort (the ppl that are supposed to take you to your car at night and keep you safe)

Fu*k man, I go to UCI and the qtr start this friday, I got my vic jacked 3 times(either windwo breakin/stripped) not at irivine, I think the decision to move out there now is positve, after reading this one and the si, I can't afford it the 4th time no more, those **** impact me way too much that I might do things out of control, wtf is going on with those bastards!?

Hey, what else can we do? We gotta set up tha bait someday to catch tha fish. Yeah, tha Air Soft Massacre would be funny in tha head line news. But tha funny thing is, they'll be all beatin up and tied to a tree or something. It would take major discipline and patience to catch them though. I don't even know if UCI has security patrols roaming around...if they figure out their routine...then tha theives are able to do their thing. The thing is, break that routine and make it confusing when they don't even know what time someone would be comin around. Its about time to play stealth and sneaky boy now.
