speaking of gas cards, i think its about time i get myself a chevron card, what with spending like almost $100 bucks in gas a week (yes even in a civic!)

yeah chevron is o-k although i only know of 1 or 2 places that has decent gas prices...
from what i noticed, shell's looks good. there's 3 spots where they're really² cheap. i'm talkin about chevron/76/mobile we be around 2.10 while shells will be 2.03 or something. a lot of other shells are decently priced as well.
but hell i usually use my credit card. i think the gas cards require you to fill up a certain amount in order for them not to charge you an annual fee. thats if you sign up for the rebate plan that is. i know shells does it.

That sucks... come to the chevron near my house, if you lightly squeeze to fuel you can get away with like .004 gallons and not go up on the price! w00t Gotta find those ways to beat the system.

I sometimes go to Beacon gas station. I think it's just a local station but they're usually $.05 cheaper than surrounding stations so it's a good buy. The downside is that their pumps are slow. If not that, I use mobil but no speedpass for me.

I guess 76 and Shell are tha cleanest fuel I know of right now. Never buy ARCO or any other gas brands that you never heard of. I know Exon is almost like Chevron and plus, never buy any gas on military bases either even though they're cheaper than the ones off base.

when i first bought my car, i was interested in what gas/station will give me the most mileage.

so i tested every major gas/station for 2 tanks.

results: 76 (most gas mileage)
chervon (about 20-30 less)
*that other orange sign thingy* (worst gas mileage)
another one cant remember (same as #3)

If your car is turbo, get gas from 76 because you want the most octane you can possibly get...if you don't care just get chevron or 76...the one on the corner of glenoaks and sun land is usually the cheapest its a 76

vtec engages smoother on my 'teg with Chevron (91oct) with booster. Others it laggs and doesn't pitch strong.

I was just thinking this a few days ago...

Lately, I've been feeling that Mobil provides the richest gas. Add that to Mobil 1 5w-20 oil and you're really super cool
