Talk about BAD Luck!! :( so I got my windows tinted limo all around and light on the front windshield…. This was last Thursday. Friday I leave to go to havasu, at 3 in the morning…. All the sudden around 6, when im like 20 minutes from Arizona state border, the damn white chp camaro pulls me over and gets me for going 90 in a 70… oh and tinted windows! Ic ouldnt roll em down, b/c your supposed to leave them up for 3 days or so… so im screwed…. Damnit!!! Didn’t even have em tinted for 12 hours!

actually its a myth or superstition whatever you ma call it. my professional tint guy that i send people to says that he's never had any one bring there car back and he tells them that they can roll down there window. when he did mine i rolled them up and down like 24/7. this guy has a lifetime guantee on his work. i also met this guy at another sop that said it was just superstition and it really doesnt effect it.

No, really -- that is not cool that you got ticketed. I am not going to say anything about mine, because I have no wood to knock on right now. LOL I just basically got medium in the front. The cops just like to make sure they can see who you are. In reality, it's for their safety. What if some guy is holding a gun? They can't see through the tint. It's not cool.

^^ I doubt that's the real reason. Just another way the state can make money. Want to see if the driver has a gun? Look through the front window.. oh but what about passengers? they could have guns too you know... Oh but wait, the rest of the windows can be PAINTED according to law. Sucks cause I really want tinted windows. Oh wells.

Rep Power: 319 my homeboy who has a auto entertainment and tint shop out in hesperia HIGHLY recommends that u leave ur windows up for 3 days with limo tint than leave it for a week b4 getting a new layer on...he does lifetime guarantee on his stuff...if it gets scratched torn or bubbles anytime he'll replace it for free

EXACTLY! i knew youd agree.... actually he didnt catch the front i dont think because its light, anyways, tho, laws suck, i know that most of em have reasons, but dark tint is stupid, my factory tint was almost black from the outside, and never got ticketed, but the minute i get aftermarket, look what happens...
