yeh i posted this kind of thread a while back but just wondering if anyone knows or selling puppies. Hopefully not too much. A medium size dog is wat im looking for or smaller. Please let me know. I checked the local pound and nothing.

check the ventura pound, its hudge I have even seen horses there...

theres dozens of pounds around. saving a dog from a pound is the way to go. good luck with your search

kinda dont wanna go through the pound...i usually see dogs that are like 1 year old..i want something aroun 6-8 weeks or so.

i went there too..thats the city pound. too many big dogs and the smaller ones are kinda old.

well, although the pound is a really nice idea, it is usually better to get a dog straight from a breeder or a pet store. lost of times the dogs at the pounds will have some sort of promblem or another....for instance be aggressive, have bad habits, etc. Also, if you have a problem with a dog from a breeder (such as physical defects) there is someone to hold accountable. i'm not condemning buying a dog from a pound though. i have "rescued" two dogs of my own. (i have also gotten 2 dogs from a breeder.) there are just sometimes strings attached.
